There was a fair bit said about Metaplace shutting down their virtual world over the New Year, but you know who else shut their doors?
Why, our lovely friends at Legend City Online have shut down their grid, and removed their website.
Well, sort of. If you go to the Legend City Online homepage, you’ll see that although their plans to steal all the content creators from Second Life with promises of IP protection never came to fruition, they appear to be going for the oldest trick in the book.
Sex.
Well.. ummm.. good luck with that, guys. Methinks you might need it.

Ha – not surprised at all!
Back when LCO was new, we had several “big name” content creators urging us to set up shop there. So we went to look, more than once, and decided it was just way too unstable and disorganized. So we decided to wait and see. Then the drama began and that clinched it for us. Thankfully, we put not a penny into it.
