It’s plainly obvious that the designer of this particular jacket has a very boring Animation Override, assuming they use one at all. With burning passion, I hate jackets like these, simply because in SL they just don’t suit the majority of body types.
Now I wouldn’t mind so much if the signage/POS displays clearly stated that the base is made up using prims, and even offered a demo. If a jacket is for specialist shapes, then it should really be clear that the said jacket is going to look crap when you fly/move/do anything that you’d ever do in Second Life.
So that’s a few hundred Lindens wasted on a jacket which I’m never going to wear. Luckily there are still a few retailers selling normal jackets which look good, but the annoying trend seen above seems to be spreading, and I’ve love to meet this stick thin men with no AOs that they’re made for.

Eep, I hope you had a word with the retailer / maker. I’ve often make purchases in SL of hair or clothes that I know the instant I put on I will never want to use again. I’m a big fan of stores that provide free demos, and am often willing to pay more than I otherwise would for an item if I can be assured via the demo that it will be what I expect and want. For the higher end items I happily pay for the demo too.

I think he should just lay off the cookies and start walking around the sim instead of flying.

I can so relate to this.. I hate it that more clothing designers don’t offer demos. I dropped $400 on a dress awhile back that I never got to wear because it falls wrong with my AO so that my hip and/or butt is sticking out of the dress. Not to mention no mod skirts that look like they were made from a hula hoop.
